My Blog is back!

Hi,

If you’re on of my readers, you may have noticed that my site went down for two days. The reason is that my domain, www.investingengineerph.com, was deleted by WordPress and went into redemption mode. After thinking as to how and why this happened, it become clear that it was all my fault really.

Here’s what happened. I registered for a 15 day trial of WordPress Premium 2 months ago. Before the trial expires, I cancelled my subscription and transferred to Godaddy to avail of the Managed WordPress package. I transferred my domain in Godaddy using DNS only. I didn’t know that I have to “fully” transfer my domain to Godaddy’s servers that’s why after 60 days, WordPress deleted my domain because I really have not paid it. I only taught I was. Now I suffer the consequence of losing my domain.

Yesterday, I planned on rebranding my blog but I realized that it will take too much time and effort and may cost me to lose most of what I’ve done so far like the social media pages, emails and other optimization stuff. Good thing that my new domain, www.investingengineer.com is available. Dropping the “PH” isn’t such a big deal after all so I decided to stick with my brand and that’s how it all happened, bow! 😀

Anyway, I’m glad that my blog is back and now I can continue to do what I like to do during my downtime, spread financial literacy and write anything about the stock market.

Now, back to business!

Happy investing!

  1. Welcome back po. I want to learn fundamental analysis and I came across somewhere in your blog about it. I hope I could learn more from you. God bless!

  2. Hi Heston, there’s a book entitled Warren Buffet and the Interpretation of Financial Statements. That’s a very straightforward book about how Warren Buffet valuates a company using financial statements. It will give you valuable information to start with. 😀
