Highlights:

There are 5 basic principles of SMart investing;

1. Stay invested in the stock market for the long-term.
2. Manage the risk by diversifying your portfolio (stocks, bonds, etc.).
3. Asset Allocation.
   • Aspiring Wealth Builder (35 years old and below) – 80% Equities, 20% Bonds.
   • Wealth Builder (36 years old up to 65 years old) – 50% Equities, 50% Bonds.
   • Wealth Manager (66 years and above) – 80% Bonds, 20% Equities.
4. Regular investing. Invest whether the market goes up or goes down.
5. Target review. Portfolio balancing.
